After reading an article about the creator of The Front Steps Project, I was inspired to replicate it in my community. It was a small way of bringing people together in a time of isolation. Families getting their portraits taken by me were encouraged to donate to the Boys & Girls Club of King County, a non-profit serving the children of first responders and essential personnel who were relying on them for childcare during shelter-in-place. Together we raised $4,300!
